The Presbyterian Church in Kirkuk, Iraq

KIRKUK PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH - NPC's New International Mission

The National Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Kirkuk in northern Iraq is sheltering

more than 70 internally displaced Christians from Mosul in their church.  With support

from many  churches in the USA, including the PCUSA Solidarity Fund with Iraqi

Churches, the Presbyterian Disaster Fund and the Outreach Foundation of the PCUSA,

the Kirkuk Church has managed to minister to these refugees and refugees in

churches and camps elsewhere in northern Iraq.  The Kirkuk Church continues

its regular programs - weekly services and Sunday School, a kindergarten and child

care center for morethan 300 children, a Christian FM radio station, a ministry to

women prisoners, plus prayer and Bible Study groups.
